ENROLMENT PROCEDURES

Ultimo Public School’s enrolment policy gives priority to students living within the school’s enrolment boundaries. Students who live outside the local area may be enrolled at the school as long as there are places available for in-area students, or in exceptional circumstances. Decisions regarding applications for out-of-area enrolment are made by the school’s enrolment committee. Please contact the school office to determine whether you live within our boundaries or to make an out of area application.
Enrolment forms are available at the school office. You will need to provide a birth certificate or passport as proof of your child's date of birth, their immunisation details and proof of residential address.

PROCEDURES FOR THE START OF 2009

All parents whose child has been accepted for enrolment will receive a letter in November confirming enrolment and giving a date and time that students will be starting school. Each student and his/her family is given an individual starting time so that they can meet the Principal or Assistant Principal and finalise any enrolment details. Students should come dressed in their school uniform with their bag, lunch and recess ready to start school at this time. The starting dates for Kindergarten for 2009 will be either Thursday 29 January or Friday 30 January. If parents have not received a letter by the beginning of December they should contact the school office.

SCHOOL TOURS

The Principal is available to take small groups of parents and students on a tour of the school and to answer parents' questions. These tours are held regularly throughout the year. Please click on the link below for dates and times.
